I am a single mom of two. I never knew my dad; he left my mom when we were very young. My mom died in 2006. I live with my grandmother and my two siblings. Before TJM, I was working at the hairdressing salon. They were paying me very little or sometimes no money at the end of the month. So I decided to braid hair at home. It was much better but not enough to take my siblings and my children to school. I thank God for TJM; I was able to increase my income to an extent. My goal with TJM is eventually be able to open my own salon, so I can provide for my children and my siblings for I don have anybody to help me do this.

I am 26 years old and I am single; we are eight siblings in my family. I am the seventh born. My mom died in 2002; six months later my dad died. We went to live with my aunt who also passed away in 2003. All my siblings were divided among other family members; me and my youngest sister went to live with our older sister who rents a one bedroom house. In 2007 I went for 3 months hair dressing course. I was doing this job at a salon where I was not paid well so I stopped and did it on my own at home. Life was so hard at my sister's because she was a single mom of two children and taking care of my sister and me. My goal with working for TJM is eventually starting my hair dressing salon.
